Implementing Testing Accommodations

Many students qualify for extended testing time for tests and quizzes. This accommodation is often facilitated right in the learning environment by the professor, given class sizes at Aquinas are small. Some students qualify for testing accommodations that require a quiet or separate testing environment (reader, scribe, longer extended testing time, etc.). Aquinas maintains a small testing center to facilitate these needs. Students who qualify for this accommodation must use the Student Request for Accommodated Test Form to schedule their tests at the testing center 7 days in advance for tests and quizzes, and 14 days in advance for final exams. Once the form is completed, the student will receive an email confirming that the exam has been scheduled. Students who wish to reschedule or change exam times must first get approval from their professor and email the request to us to confirm the availability of space.
