Presidential Search Committee

Membership of the search committee for the ninth president of Aquinas College includes the following students, faculty, staff, alumni and trustees:

• Jason Duncan, Ph.D., professor of history and department chair
• Rev. Msgr. William Duncan, JCL, trustee emeritus, pastor (St. Sebastian - Byron Center), and vicar general/moderator of the Curia (Diocese of Grand Rapids)
• Steve Germic, Ph.D., provost, dean of faculty and interim president
• Kyle Hull, Ph.D., associate professor of communication and faculty assembly chair
• Margaret Kennedy, trustee
• Marie Krueger, current student and peer ministry co-team lead
• Alicia Lloyd, M. Ed., director of the Center for Diversity, Inclusion and Equity and special advisor to the president
• Sr. Nathalie Meyer, O.P., Ed.D., Dominican sister
• Pat Miles '88, alumnus, former U.S. attorney at United States Attorney’s Office, and attorney at Barnes & Thornburg
• Danny Nelson, current student, AQ Hockey Team, and Grand Rapids Catholic Central alumnus
• John Pinheiro, Ph.D., professor of history, director of Catholic studies, and director of general education
• Sr. Damien Marie Savino, FSE, Ph.D., dean of science and sustainability

The Board of Trustees has selected the firm Academic Search to assist with the presidential search. The senior consultants working closely with the committee, Dr. Scott Flanagan and Dr. Suzanne Mellon, are experienced in academic leadership, Catholic higher education and are familiar with Aquinas College.
